WRAP Announces First Accredited Consultants

WRAP Program is in the process of accrediting consulting firms to provide training and
consulting services to factories seeking certification to WRAP’s Apparel Code of Conduct and
the Universal Code of Ethical Conduct (UCEC). Three consulting firms – 3p Institute, Cool
Ideas, and [TC]² are accredited by WRAP. Please note that they are the only consulting firms
currently accredited by WRAP.
3p Institute
Located in Cologne, Germany, 3p Institute for Sustainable Management is a not-for-profit
organization recognised worldwide as an expert for projects in development cooperation.
Specializing in management and funding of projects in capacity building in the areas of corporate
responsibility and environmental protection, 3p Institute aims to adopt systems to implement
local, national and international criteria of social and environmental standards in various
industrial and service sectors.
3p Institute has a close cooperation with Global Sustainable Management (gsm), which offers
holistic and sustainable solutions for assurance of corporate specific requirements in the areas of
corporate responsibility, product safety and social accountability as well as environmental
protection. Their service portfolio contains rating systems for evaluation of supplier performance,
product conformity and processes within the supply chain.

Cool Ideas
Cool Ideas provides sourcing support services to customers who do not have staff and/or
infrastructure in the African locations from which they source or wish to be sourced garments,
textiles and associated items. In order to provide pro-active support and services, while
containing travel costs, the company has offices and staff situated throughout Sub-Saharan
Africa.
Cool Ideas works closely with various organizations throughout the world to promote Africa as a
sourcing destination – this includes NGO’s such as USAID, regional governments, and
international trade consultants. It strongly endorses ethical employment, trade and environmental
practices. As one of WRAP’s accredited consultants, Cool Ideas is working hard to raise
