Supply Chain Executive Jeff Streader Joins WRAP® Board of Directors
Arlington, VA, November 12, 2007 – WRAP, the Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production organization, has announced the addition of Jeff Streader, a supply chain and apparel industry veteran, to its Board of Directors. WRAP recently changed its name to reflect its increasing involvement as the certifying agency for ethical working conditions in labor-intensive manufacturing facilities around the world.
“With the rapid expansion of overseas factories, it is critically important for companies to ensure that their standards of conduct are met or exceeded,” said Streader. “As a result, one of my priorities is to increase participation of industry trade groups and their member companies in WRAP’s world-renowned accreditation program.”

Mr. Streader’s experience includes over 25 years in the apparel industry with roles in sourcing, product development, management, technology and sales. He has held positions at Oxford Industries, Fasturn and VF Corporation. Currently, he is the President of Kellwood Global, the corporate supply chain division of Kellwood Company in New York. He is responsible for their sourcing, quality, logistics, distribution, trade and social compliance programs worldwide.

“Jeff’s in-depth knowledge of sourcing and social compliance is directly relevant to WRAP’s mission,” said Charles Masten, Chairman of WRAP’s Board . “We expect that his active involvement in attracting new industries to the WRAP accreditation program and in setting our organization’s policy direction will ultimately lead to ensuring that lawful, humane and ethical conditions exist in all factories worldwide.”
