WRAP Program is in the process of accrediting consulting firms to provide training and consulting services to factories seeking certification to WRAP’s Apparel Code of Conduct and the Universal Code of Ethical Conduct (UCEC). Three consulting firms – 3p Institute, Cool Ideas, and [TC]² are accredited by WRAP. Please note that they are the only consulting firms currently accredited by WRAP. Cool Ideas Cool Ideas provides sourcing support services to customers who do not have staff and/or infrastructure in the African locations from which they source or wish to be sourced garments, textiles and associated items. In order to provide pro-active support and services, while containing travel costs, the company has offices and staff situated throughout Sub-Saharan Africa. Cool Ideas works closely with various organizations throughout the world to promote Africa as a sourcing destination – this includes NGO’s such as USAID, regional governments, and international trade consultants. It strongly endorses ethical employment, trade and environmental practices. As one of WRAP’s accredited consultants, Cool Ideas is working hard to raise understanding of, and encourage improvements in work conditions in the factories. Cool Ideas is a member of the Organic Exchange and a member of the South African Garment and Textile Export Association.
