In order to help businesses understand the importance of social and environmental compliance and win the international market, Centre Testing International Corp-oration (CTI) is going to host a seminar in Dongguan, Guangdong, China on July 28, 2010.

The seminar will cover updates on EU and US Economic Development, EU's REACH program, the U.S. California Proposition 65, importance of social and environmental compliance, and benefits and requirements of WRAP Certification.

The speakers of this seminar include:

Ms. Angela Hao, CTI Senior Lecturer, CTI Engineer, REACH Expert &Technical Support on Textiles

Ms. Hao have participated in the EU's REACH legislation on the CTI project research and worked on R&D of international environmental regulations.  She is a strategist on international environmental regulations, an expert on supply chain management and control system, and a master of supply chain training and technical support. With active participation in various seminars on international textile standards, Ms. Hao is very experienced in teaching and training. She holds a Master of Applied Chemistry degree.

Ms. Maggie Xie, CTI Senior Lecturer, CTI Engineer, REACH Expert &Technical Support on Textiles

Ms. Xie is an expert of textile testing standards and regulations. She has hosted seminars with topics on "China Textile Standard", "ecologically and environmentally-friendly textiles", "U.S. Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act - CPSIA", "textile physical test technology" and so on.   She has assisted companies develop and improve product quality standards, establish their supply chain transmission control systems, and conduct training courses on testing.

Mr. Francis YÜk, the Senior Vice President of WRAP

Mr. YÜk has worked in manufacturing, international trade and quality audit industries for over thirty years. He has organized and gave presentations at various consumer product safety and audit seminars throughout the Far East and the United States. He received Master of Science degree in Textile Sciences from the University of Leeds, England and completed post-graduate research at the Cotton Incorporated Research Institute in Raleigh, North Carolina, USA. He is an ISO 9000 certified auditor, a Fellow of the Textile Institute and a Fellow of the Institute of Management.

郁其拯 先生 （Francis YÜk）国际社会责任认证组织(WRAP) 高级副总裁

郁先生从事制造业、国际贸易和工业质量监督长达30多年。他多次在远东和美国组织关于消费品质量安全和质量监督方面的研讨会，并在研讨会上讲演。他获得英国利兹大学颁发的纺织科学专业硕士学位，并在美国北卡州罗利市的美国棉花研究所完成毕业后的研究工作。郁先生是通过ISO 9000认证的审核员， 纺织学会和管理学会的高级院士。
