WRAP’s Director of Compliance Administration Avedis Seferian will moderate panels at two conferences hosted by the American Apparel & Footwear Association (AAFA) held in Bangladesh and India on November 30 and December 6, respectively.

At the November 30 conference in Dhaka, Seferian will participate in a panel titled “Corporate RSLs & Establishing a Chemically Compliant Supply Chain.” This panel covers the responsibilities of manufacturers in the chemical regulatory process and highlights the role that wholesalers and retailers have in requiring restricted substances lists (RSLs) and chemical management programs throughout the supply chain.

At both Dhaka and Bangalore, Seferian will moderate the panel on Corporate Sustainability, which will highlight how companies can make their manufacturing processes more sustainable and improve their bottom lines.

“The AAFA has a proven track record of doing a great job running product safety seminars, both in the US and countries abroad. This being their first time organizing one in Bangladesh, it is particularly exciting to be involved in the conference,” said Seferian.
